SBS GROUP ACQUIRES EBSI

SBS Group, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and President's Club member, has acquired the Microsoft Dynamics SL practice of Virginia-based Evolutionary Business Solutions.

EBSI's Dynamics SL clients will be supported out of a new regional office in the Washington, D.C., area, bringing the total number of offices to four. None of EBSI's employees were acquired, but they are helping with the transition.

Woodbridge, N.J.-based SBS Group now supports clients from Northern Virginia through Southern Connecticut.

MISYS BUNDLES SOFTWARE WITH PEACHTREE QUANTUM

Manufacturing Information Systems has entered into an agreement with Sage North America to bundle its Small Business Manufacturing software into what will be sold as the Peachtree Quantum Manufacturing Edition.

"Until now, Peachtree's vertical solutions have been well-suited for small manufacturers, but have lacked some of the specialized functionality those manufacturers need to effectively manage their operations," said Connie Certusi, general manager of Sage's small-business accounting solutions.

Sage will start selling the product through the channel this summer.

INCORTECH, WHITETIP MERGE

IncorTech, which resells Sage MAS, QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions and Deltek Vision, has merged with Whitetip Consulting, a Sage SalesLogix and Microsoft Dynamics CRM VAR. The combined organization will be named IncorTech, adding three more employees to the previous IncorTech staff. Both companies are based in California.

BLACKLINE OPENS IN PARIS

Financial software provider BlackLine Systems has opened offices in Paris to serve its customers in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

Many of BlackLine's current clients in the United States have EMEA operations, according to the company. It brought customer service and support staff to Paris in June and plans to add training and implementation services for the region in the near future.

In January, the company announced that it had established operations in Sydney to serve the Asia-Pacific market.
