RKL GROWS SAGE 500 PRACTICE

Lancaster, PA. -- Long-time Sage North America partner RKL eSolutions has effectively expanded its Sage 500 ERP practice, primarily by taking on former consultants, executives and product customers from Portland, Ore.-based Sage partner ISM. While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the transaction did include ISM vice president Stuart Blumenthal joining RKL, along with three former ISM Sage 500 consultants: Becky Keene, Donna Gallardo and Joshua Gettman. As part of the deal, RKL will service the majority of ISM's Sage 500 customers -- close to 100 -- while ISM will retain a select few.

BRAINSELL BUYS SAGE PRACTICE FROM K-FOUR

Topsfield, Mass. -- Sage North America partner BrainSell Technologies has purchased Holliston, Mass.-based partner K-Four Systems for an undisclosed amount. K-Four Systems has been a Sage partner since its formation in 2010. With the addition of K-Four Systems, BrainSell will have 11 offices in Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, Virginia, Georgia, Illinois, Florida, Colorado, Minnesota and Utah.

SWK ADDS ACUMATICA TO PRODUCT OFFERINGS

Livingston, N.J. -- Long-time Sage North America partner SWK Technologies has officially joined the Acumatica channel, adding to its overall ERP product portfolio. Last year SWK also became a NetSuite partner, marking the first time the company had expanded its product offerings outside the Sage line. Acumatica will be a part of the firm's cloud ERP practice, which is headed up by SWK senior vice president Amy Knust.

BAASS AND SCS FORM STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

Miami -- BAASS Business Solutions Inc. has formed a strategic alliance with Southeast Computer Solutions Inc., designed primarily to aid growth in its Sage ERP X3 business. SCS has over a dozen Sage X3 consultants and is positioned to help BAASS serve its expanding North America, Latin America and Caribbean business. BAASS will also assist SCS by extending their professional service resources and offerings, including CRM, business intelligence, and human resources information systems.
