SWK TO ACQUIRE ESC SOFTWARE

Livingston, N.J. -- SilverSun Technologies announced in early April that its wholly owned subsidiary SWK Technologies, a national technology solutions and services provider, signed a letter of intent to acquire ESC Software, an Arizonabased reseller of Sage Software and Acumatica applications.

While the terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the deal is expected to add more than $1.7 million in annual revenue that will be immediately accretive to SilverSun's earnings.

 

DELOITTE AND SAP SIGN RESELLER AGREEMENT

New York -- Deloitte announced it has broadened its relationship with SAP, signing a global value-added reseller agreement that will permit participating Deloitte member firms to resell SAP products and product maintenance support services under a single global framework. Participating Deloitte member firms will be able to offer business solutions that include SAP software and maintenance, along with industry-specific pre-configured solutions, implementation services, and application maintenance support services.

 

EPICOR, PLANTE MORAN FORM STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

Austin, Texas/Southfield, Mich. -- Business software solution provider Epicor Software and Top 100 Firm Plante Moran announced a strategic alliance to deliver the next-generation enterprise resource planning solution. Southfield, Mich.-based Plante Moran, with an independent team of ERP systems advisors and implementation specialists, recently joined the Epicor Inspired Partner Network to serve Epicor ERP customers.

 

ACUMATICA NAMES DUFFY AS VP

Kirkland, Wash. -- Cloud-based enterprise resource planning solution provider Acumatica announced the appointment of Richard Duffy as vice president of partner strategy and enablement. A former SAP mentor and ERP technology evangelist who previously worked at SAP, Microsoft and Dynamics GP, Duffy will lead partner strategy and on-boarding for Acumatica. Duffy began his career with his own ERP business 13 years before moving to Great Plains Software and Microsoft for six years, then SAP, where he held various roles over the past 11 years.
