CUMLEY TAPPED FOR INTACCT ACCOUNTANTS PROGRAM
San Jose, Calif. -- Cloud financial management and accounting software provider Intacct announced the hiring of Kevin Cumley as its new director of the Intacct Accountants Program in collaboration with CPA.com.
Cumley, who reports to Taylor Macdonald, joins Intacct from SaaS and software provider Abila, where he was vice president of strategic alliances. Prior to that, he was president of Forepoint, a Sage and Deltek value-added reseller.
SNBS ACQUIRES ACUITY BUSINESS SOLUTIONS
York, Pa. -- Stambaugh Ness Business Solutions, a partner of enterprise software and information solutions provider Deltek, announced that it has acquired fellow Deltek channel partner Acuity Business Solutions, which will become a division of SNBS. The acquisition will expand SNBS's national presence in the professional services/architectural and engineering community.
KPMG ACQUIRES ASSETS OF CYBERSECURITY FIRM
New York, London and Redwood City, Calif. -- KPMG (U.S. and U.K.) has acquired certain assets of Qubera Solutions, a privately held cybersecurity firm that provides identity and access management services. The new addition strengthens the KPMG network's security transformation capabilities in a number of service areas. The transaction also positions KPMG (U.S.) as a top deployment partner for IAM solution provider SailPoint.
SASB FORMS ERP PARTNERSHIP FOR SOFTWARE PROVIDERS
San Francisco -- The Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, a nonprofit that develops sustainability accounting standards for publicly listed U.S. corporations, announced the launch of the Enterprise Resource Platform Partnership Program for software providers. Software providers PE International and CSRware are the initial founding partners for the program, with the ERP the first in a suite of tools to help companies track their performance on SASB metrics, access SASB disclosure guidance, and note analysis alongside data. Auditors can view and assess data, as well as evaluate internal controls.
