Weaver Gains New Partner

Adam McCane has moved up to partner in the assurance services practice at the independent accounting firm Weaver.

“We are pleased to promote Adam, a valued employee, to partner,” Weaver’s managing partner and CEO Tommy Lawler said in a statement. “He has demonstrated strong leadership within Weaver and we have seen his skills and experience increase significantly during his time at the firm.”

McCane, who joined Weaver’s Fort Worth office in 2004, mainly works with financial entities including banks and hedge funds. He also provides services to oil and gas exploration and production organizations and the public sector where he has conducted audits of local city and county governments and school districts.

McCane is a member of AICPA, TSCPA and its Fort Worth chapter. He earned a Bachelor of Business, Accounting and Finance degree from Texas Christian University.
