Mark E. Lund, the Houston audit location leader at the accounting firm Weaver, was recently named executive partner of the Houston office.

Lund most recently served as the Houston audit location leader. In 2008, he was named partner-in-charge of the firms construction industry services practice. Lund has 29 years of experience in public accounting. His practice emphasizes audit, review and consulting services to clients in construction, manufacturing, engineering and a variety of service industries, as well as employee benefit plans audits. Lund joined the firm in January 2007 through Weavers merger with McDonald, Fox and Lund, P.C. and Weavers initial expansion into the Houston market.
Lunds professional memberships include American Institute of CPAs and the Texas Society of CPAs, where he is a former chair of the Construction Contractors Conference Committee. Lund served on the Accounting and Auditing Executive committee and the National Construction Industry Service Team for CPAmerica International.
He sits on the Houston Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Associations Board of Directors. Lund was a member of the Continuing Professional Education Panel of the Internal Revenue Services Large and Mid-size Business Division Natural Resources and Construction Companies. community involvement includes SBISDs Academy of Finance, Memorial Drive United Methodist Church and coaching various youth sports associations.
