IRS Advisory Committee Wants Tax Pros
The Internal Revenue Service is looking for a few good tax preparers to apply for its Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee. Committee members offer recommendations on information reporting and administration issues to IRS leaders and report to the IRS commissioner at a public meeting in the fall. The committee includes up to 35 members who serve three-year terms and come from diverse backgrounds, including taxpayers, tax professionals and others.
