WeiserMazars Partners with Ford in SYNC AppLink Developer Challenge

Accounting, tax and advisory services firm WeiserMazars announced its partnership in the inaugural Ford SYNC AppLink Developer Challenge, a 24-hour competition where entrepreneurs, app development teams and individuals work with Ford engineers and WeiserMazars executives to create new software and ideas for potential use with Ford’s in-car connectivity system, SYNC.

Taking place in Tel Aviv on Oct. 11-12, the challenge’s winners will take home a new 2015 Ford Fiesta while WeiserMazars will provide in-kind consulting services—ranging from tax assistance, accounting, finance services, and automotive and business consulting—for the three top winners.

Jules Reich, partner and financial advisory services leader at WesierMazars, will be a challenge judge with executives from Ford Company, along with providing counsel on potential business opportunities for participants’ creations with David Chaudat, global head of manufacturing and automotive at Mazars Group.

“We would like to thank the Ford Motor Company for the opportunity to support the first-ever Israel based SYNC AppLink Developer Challenge,” said Jules S. Reich. “Israel is a great technology-innovation hub. We look forward to meeting with participants to help them turn their ideas into real businesses.”

SYNC is Ford’s integrated in-vehicle connectivity system and AppLink for SYNC gives drivers voice control of smartphone apps.
