CCH Axcess products now available on a single platform

Wolters Kluwer announced that CCH Axcess Engagement is now fully integrated with CCH Axcess Financial Prep and CCH Axcess Knowledge Coach.

With the three tools now integrated, users will be able to use CCH Axcess Engagement for higher-value, more complex audit engagements, while still using CCH Axcess Financial Prep for tax return engagements and preparation and compilation commitments. The integration provides a digital workflow for tax preparation of business returns, preparation and compilation of financial statements, and performance of review and audit engagements.

Wolters Kluwer added that, through automated data sharing between the three tools, there is no more need for duplicative data entry; for example, all workpapers developed in CCH Axcess Knowledge Coach will now be automatically added to the appropriate engagement binder in CCH Axcess Engagement. It also means that users can integrate their tailored audit methodology with their trial balance and workpaper tools to create a workflow with diagnostics to identify areas that require further attention.

Colleen Knuff, vice president of audit product management at Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting North America, noted that a recent survey found that about 30% of firms want to add audit services over the coming year.

"Whether you're a firm that already offers audit services or is looking to add them this year, the integrated, cloud-based tools in our CCH Axcess platform are essential to helping you eliminate low-value tasks and free up your staff's time to focus on higher-value audit and advisory work," she said in a statement.
