Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, a global provider of tax, accounting and audit products and information, has named Russell Evans as president of its Asia Pacific region, effective August 30.
Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer, Evans was general manager for Veda Advantage, a provider of financial and risk analytics to the Australian and New Zealand markets. He also served as managing director for Hyperion Solutions Asia Pty Ltd, where he tripled top-line growth for Australia and New Zealand. His resume also includes sales and marketing roles with Xerox, Vodafone and IBM.
Evans will report to Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting CEO Kevin Robert.
Evans replaces former regional president Dave Lampert, who is now vice president of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accountings North America/Asia Pacific Segment. Evans will be based in Sydney.
