Workday Adds New Dashboards, Languages in Workday 25

Workday, provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, announced new product features to Workday Financial Management in latest release Workday 25.

The enhancements include new reporting and analytics capabilities and additional product translations and localizations.

“There is a strong emphasis in this update on reporting and analytics, which is super important to us in terms of customers’ needs,” explained Betsy Bland, Workday’s vice president of financial management products. “In this update, we’re really focused on delivering prepackaged content—prebuilt, prepackaged dashboards that costumers can consume and use.”

Workday’s new prepackaged auditor dashboard, projects dashboard and revenue dashboard enable users to more efficiently identify risks and access performance in real time from a single source.

Wokday 25 also adds Workday Inventory, a new application to support an organization’s end-to-end process for inventory needs, including the ability to store, manage, track and replenish items. Workday Inventory joins another recent application, Workday Professional Services Automation, made available earlier this year, in Workday 25. Workday PSA helps organizations manage their teams, projects and businesses.

The new release’s deeper reporting and analytics capabilities will also include Workday Planning, scheduled to be released in 2016, which customers can use to continuously plan and collaborate on budgets and forecasts by unifying real-time finance and HR data with analytics and enterprise planning.

The company has also expanded Workday 25’s global capabilities, adding new language translations and country-specific configurations. These include language translations in French and Spanish and country-specific configurations for the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand.

While these translations are Workday’s first, new languages and country configurations will be added on a rolling basis with every new release in the company’s six-month cycle.

Workday also announced that more than 150 organizations are currently using Workday Financial Management, with more than 80 currently live on Workday 25.
