Workiva, a provider of enterprise cloud solutions, has updated its Wdesk data platform, a cloud-based spreadsheet product.

Wdesk spreadsheets are designed to let users collaborate in real time with an advanced formula editor aimed at reducing risk and enabling better decisions.

New features include the ability to sync a trial balance into Wdesk and create summarized financial statements with linked, cross-sheet formulas. The expanded data platform is designed to make complicated formulas easier to read and edit, the company said.

“The new spreadsheet capabilities augment all of the rich features that our customers have always loved, including versatility, data linking, control and audit trail,” said Matt Rizai, chairman and CEO of Workiva, in a statement. “Our data platform will continue to scale all of our Wdesk applications in the future.”

The expanded data platform is being offered immediately to all Wdesk customers. More information can be found here.
