XCM names Ray Barlow SVP of Xpitax Outsourcing

XCM, which makes workflow and productivity software for accountants, has named Ray Barlow its new senior vice president of Xpitax Outsourcing, its client accounting and tax outsourcing service. The appointment was made in time for the company’s rebranding from XCM Solutions to XCM, complete with a new logo.

Barlow is a 23-year veteran of the accounting technology industry. Most recently, he was vice president of accountant solutions, North America, for Sage where he focused on the growth of cloud accounting applications for small to medium businesses.

Prior to Sage, Barlow led strategic sales for the QuickBooks Online product line at Intuit. He was also VP of sales at CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business for ten years, and VP of sales at RIA/Thomson, where he led teams selling software and research.

Barlow holds a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Rhode Island.
