Cloud accounting platform Xero released an updated accounting dashboard with new look and feel, offering a clearer look into financial performance, and new automated features.
The updates are the latest in a series of more than 400 “silent” ones Xero rolled out in 2014 providing new product features and enhancements.
The latest include the updated dashboard that can be personalized and prioritized, which was refreshed ahead of Xero’s upcoming Business Performance Dashboard, due out in early 2015.
The dashboard was built on Xero’s new reporting framework, enabling users to view numbers in key reports now containing additional columns and groupings.
Xero’s update also cuts down on the manual entry of both cost and date, with new functionality to create repeating journals and define dynamic date placeholders.
