Xero seeks submissions for partner awards

Xero, a maker of online accounting software, is seeking submissions for its annual partner awards.

The awards recognize excellence in accounting and bookkeeping services, as well as from ecosystem partners. Interested parties can nominate themselves or others.

For ecosystem partners, the categories are app partner of the year, emerging partner of the year and industry-specific partner of the year.

There are more categories available for accountant and bookkeeper partners, including one called “Rewiring the Economy through Service.” The winner in this class will be either an individual or firm that has shown a commitment to their community and rewiring the economy through pro bono or volunteer work for underserved businesses or individuals in need. For example, they can be actively improving the financial health of a client, or educating the community on financial wellness. Another category, “100% Cloud,” recognizes a partner who has shown innovation through the use of 100 percent cloud technology.

Last year’s winners included expense management provider Expensify, payments app company Veem, and the small firms Cloud Accounting & Consulting and Bean Counter for Hire.

The deadline for submissions is Nov. 16. For more information and to submit a nomination, visit https://www.xero.com/us/events/awards/.
