Franklin, N.C. (March 12, 2002) -- Drake Software has agreed to merge with Columbia, S.C.-based tax preparation software provider Xpress Group Inc.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Xpress president Floyd Harper III said his customers would now have the opportunity to transition into a stable and fully integrated Windows version.
Harper will continue to work on new projects with Drake, and Xpress will maintain its operations in Columbia for the near future.
