Zoho Adds Auto BCC and Mobile Email Filter to CRM

Zoho has released upgrades to its Web and mobile Zoho CRM product which include BCC Dropbox, an automatic BCC feature, and integration of MailMagnet, an email filtering function for mobile devices.

BCC Dropbox enables users to send emails from their favorite email client and have them      associated to the right customer record inside Zoho CRM.  Zoho CRM copies these emails, including attachments, and associates them to the right lead or contact. The BCC Dropbox feature works across multiple email clients.

MailMagnet for Mobile scans users’ mailboxes and displays only emails from prospects and customers that are relevant inside CRM.  The new messages section in the mobile apps displays the filtered emails from relevant prospects and customers to any iOS or Android device. Users can view then and respond to customer emails from within the Zoho CRM mobile app and add follow-up tasks.

“If you are a small firm, you do not have an IT department to take applications and make them work for you, so we have said that’s not practical and why don’t we create applications that work for them. Zoho has about 25 different applications and CRM is most popular for us,” said Zoho evangelist Raju Vegesna. “Now if you want Zoho to talk to your email we have integrated email with the CRM, so all email exchanges with your client will show up right in the application. Also, instead of forwarding you can directly share and view email exchanges with colleagues if you are working with the same client.”

Vegesna noted the addition of Zoho LiveDesk, a feature that allows businesses to support their customers in real time through live chat. With Zoho CRM integration, support agents can add leads, contacts, notes and follow-up tasks in Zoho CRM  directly from Zoho LiveDesk. In addition, chat transcripts from Zoho LiveDesk can be attached to the customer’s record in Zoho CRM. 

The Zoho CRM integration with Zoho LiveDesk is available for all Zoho LiveDesk paid users. The BCC Dropbox feature is available for users of the Zoho CRM Professional and Enterprise Editions. MailMagnet Mobile is available for all Zoho CRM users with mobile add-on enabled.
