Accounting Degree Review ranks 2015's top online grad programs

Accounting Degree Review - an independent, online publication that covers education and career paths for students - recently released their 2015 ranking of the top 45 online graduate accounting programs.

The ranking factored accreditation, cost, and available information regarding student satisfaction. The University of Alabama's Collat School of Business, in Birmingham, AL, topped the list, followed by the University of Connecticut.

"Choosing an online graduate program can be a great choice for students who want to pursue higher education, but do not have time to attend classes on campus because of work or family obligations,” said Kate Lau, editor at Accounting Degree Review, in a statement. “An online graduate accounting program gives students the flexibility to take courses around their schedule and gives students the opportunity to balance work and family life with studies. The majority of the online programs are 100% remote and students are not required to attend any classes on campus. Whether you decide you want to sit for the CPA or you want to advance in your career, pursuing a graduate degree will give you the tools and requirements needed to do both."
