Cindy Fornelli, the executive director of the Center for Audit Quality, has long been an influential person in the accounting profession and is a perennial member of Accounting Today’s annual list of the Top 100 Most Influential People.

She has joined a select group of thought leaders who have been chosen to participate in LinkedIn’s Influencers program, joining other luminaries like Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Atlantic (and now Virgin Galactic), as well as Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan Chase, Bill Gates of Microsoft and Sallie Krawcheck, formerly of Bank of America.
