Follow Along With Texas Young CPAs

Texas Society of CPAs is gearing up for its second Young CPAs and Emerging Professionals Conference and even if you're not going, you can read all about the happenings – before and after – on a new blog. The blogger, Michael Brown, is a member of TSCPA's Young CPAs and Emerging Professionals Committee and is an avid user of social media. If you want to get an extra dose of updates, you can also follow him on Twitter and become a fan of the conference on Facebook.

The one-day conference is slated for May 22 in Houston. The event will earn participants six CPE credit hours and is designed especially for young CPAs, CPA candidates and accounting students. It will feature sessions on accounting profession issues, business skills for the workplace, client relations and practice development, negotiation and conflict resolution and working with Baby Boomers.
