With the holiday season fast approaching, charitable events are becoming more and more prevalent as professionals and firms get into the spirit of the season.
Today, Grassi & Co., the NY-based accounting firm, is holding its annual charitable "Firm Day" event at the Skyline Hotel in Manhattan.
Teaming with St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters, 200 Grassi employees will prepare thousands of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for New Yorkers in need over the course of the day.
“St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters is a fantastic organization here in New York City that provides clothing, food, school supplies and more to so many people in need. My team and are I excited to have the opportunity to contribute,” said managing partner Lou Grassi, in a statement.
