Twenty-one CPAs under the age of 40 from around the state of Kansas have been selected as the second batch of participants for KSCPAs 20 up to 40 Leadership Program.
The program was created to help young professionals develop their leadership style by examining major leadership philosophies, giving participants the opportunity to network, socialize and learn from fellow colleagues and facilitators. They are also encouraged to bring vision, ideas and strategies to the KSCPA.
The 2010 program consists of five sessions over the course of the entire year. In January, there was an emphasis on legislative awareness and understanding the KSCPA.
