Legacy Professionals LLP gives back to communities via 'Wear-It-Wednesdays'

With the holidays upon us, many firms and businesses are feeling charitable and giving what they can in the spirit of the season. One such organization, Legacy Professionals LLP, has implemented "Wear-It-Wednesdays" this year, in which staff can pay $5 each to wear jeans to the office, with collected donations put into the “Employees of Legacy Making a Difference Fund.” The money is then put towards local organizations nominated by Legacy's staff.

This year, Legacy has collected and donated more than $5,000 from the program. Legacy's Chicago office brought gifts to Advocate Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn last Friday, while their Indiana office donated to the Schererville FOP Lodge #170 for its "Shop with a Cop" program. Legacy's Minnesota office is sponsoring 3 families through 360 Communities Armful of Love Program.

Earlier in November, Legacy collected hundreds of nonperishable food items in all three offices and donated them to local food pantries.
