Oregon Society of CPAs Educational Foundation awards over $100K in scholarships

The Oregon Society of CPAS (OSCPA) Educational Foundation, in affiliation with the OSCPA, recently announced its scholarship award recipients for the 2016-17 academic year. Scholarships range from $2,000 to $3,000, for a total of $106,000 awarded to 49 students.

Scholarships were awarded based on students' academic performance and their determination to pursue a CPA career in the state of Oregon.

Founded in 1985, The OSCPA Educational Foundation has gone on to award over $1.8 million in scholarships to 1,100 students. The Oregon Society of CPAs was founded in 1908 and currently represents approximately 4,500 members.
