Top IRS officials to speak at 2015 AICPA National Tax Conference Nov. 2 + 3rd in D.C.

November 2nd + 3rd will see top IRS officials – including the IRS Commissioner, the heads of two IRS operating divisions, and the IRS Taxpayer Advocate  – offer insight concerning the current challenges facing the agency and the 2015 tax filing season at theAICPA's 2015 National Tax Conference, held at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C.

Important developments to individual and business taxpayers will be covered, including taxpayer identity theft, foreign tax reporting, the Affordable Care Act, tax penalties, and tangible personal property regulations. Former House Ways and Means Committee chairman Dave Camp is also set to share his thoughts on tax reform.  

Additionally, there will be an Optional Post-Conference Workshop on November 4th, titled "Partnership Bootcamp: Refresh on Fundamentals," overseen by Craig Gerson, partner at PwC LLP, Washington, D.C., and Paul Kugler, director, Washington National Tax, KPMG in Washington, D.C.
