UHY LLP donates more than $48,000 to 55th Annual Center for Disability Services Telethon

UHY LLP announced today that it will donate $48,500 to support the55thAnnual Center for Disability Services Telethonat the Holiday Inn Albany (on Wolf Road) this Sunday, January 25.

The donation comes one month after UHY LLP commemorated its 50th anniversary by contributing $50,000 to the New York chapters of national nonprofit organizations dedicated to fighting disease and improving the lives of children.

“UHY has been a longtime partner of the Center for Disability Services and we’re proud to once again support the telethon this year,” said Howard Foote, UHY LLP Office Managing Partner, Capital Region, in a statement. “It’s our honor to work with an organization that for decades has provided invaluable services to thousands of residents in the greater Capital Region.”

The telethon will feature autograph signings with New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings and New York Yankees pitcher Adam Warren, courtesy of the UHY Sports LineUp. The players will sign autographs from noon to 3 p.m. Autographs will be $15 with proceeds benefitting the Center for Disability Services.

For 73 years, the Center for Disability Services has housed innovative services and expert care for individuals with disabilities and chronic medical conditions in the Capital Region, providing services to more than 12,000 individuals of all ages and their families at 80 locations throughout 15 counties in Upstate New York.

The Center for Disability Services Telethon will air on FOX23 from noon to 7 p.m. on January 25. Donations can be made in person, by phone, or online atwww.cfdsny.org/donation.aspx.
