Thomson Reuters has initiated the ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Development Partner Program for developers to create apps related to the platform.
Through the program, Thomson Reuters will provide all the necessary tools to build an app integration. Developers will get access to an integrator playbook that focuses on the technical aspects of building an integration and on the business processes and unique tax use cases that a customer expects a robust tax integration to solve.
An optional verification process for partner integrations is also available to help assure users that the third-party integration meets Thomson Reuters standards. Partners who choose to submit their integrations through the qualification process will earn a “verified integration” designation.
“We have a trusted and established foundation of integrations with our enterprise partners, including Oracle and SAP,” said Chris Carlstead, managing director of indirect and property tax for the tax and accounting business of Thomson Reuters. “With the launch of the ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Development Partner Program, we are building on that success and expanding our partner network to make our solution more accessible than ever to our fast-growing [small- and medium-sized business] customer base.”
