Deloitte Contributes Video to ‘It Gets Better’ Project

Deloitte has created an inspirational video for the “It Gets Better” project, which provides encouragement to LGBT youth facing bullying in their families and schools.

The video features Deloitte employees in the U.S. and Canada candidly discussing their own experiences facing up to their sexual orientation and coming out to their friends and family members. One employee describes how his grandfather called him one day and told him he couldn’t go home because his father wanted to kill him. The employee then lived with his grandparents for over a year.

However, the video offers solace to gay and lesbian youth that they will be able to find support and that they should hang in there.
