Latham, New York-based BST & Co. and South Burlington, Vermont-based Gallagher, Flynn & Co. completed a merger.
The combined firm will launch under the name BST Gallagher Flynn, a regional accounting and advisory firm serving clients across the Northeast. The firm brings together over 230 employees across offices in New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and India.
"Throughout this process, it became clear that our firms share many of the same values and aspirations," BST managing partner Ron Guzior said in a statement. "We are both committed to exceptional client service, investing in our people and building organizations positioned for long-term success. By bringing our firms together, we are creating real value for our clients and new opportunities for our professionals."
Founded in 1976, BST provides assurance, tax, consulting, valuation, forensic accounting, outsourcing and specialized advisory services to businesses, nonprofit organizations, governmental entities and individuals.

"For generations, both firms have built their success on relationships," Gallagher Flynn managing partner Jason Hamilton said in a statement. "As we spent time getting to know one another, we found strong alignment in how we serve clients, develop our people and think about the future. This merger is not about changing what made either organization successful. It is about building on those strengths and creating something even stronger together."
Gallagher Flynn, founded in 1961, provides assurance, tax, advisory, outsourced accounting and consulting services to organizations and individuals across a range of industries, including hospitality, renewable energy, nonprofits and consumer packaged goods.
