Small Business Owners Breathing Easier

Owners of small businesses are finding their stress levels going down as the economy improves and their money troubles lessen.

A new survey from the payroll service provider SurePayroll found 35 percent of the small business owners polled said less stress was the biggest advantage of an improving economy. Another 19 percent said increased cash flow for investment was the main advantage they saw, while 17 percent said hiring more people was the biggest boon, and 12 percent said the improving economy gave them more money to spend on marketing.

SurePayroll’s Small Business Scorecard also found that 51 percent of the small business owners it surveyed said they are on pace to beat the revenues they earned last year, while 86 percent expect to be profitable in the second half of 2015.
