Biden: We'll Make Case in 2012 to Fight Tax Cuts

Vice President Joe Biden said the administration would be better prepared to oppose the extension of tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans when they expire in 2012.

Appearing on NBC's "Meet the Press" Biden said he and President Obama remain opposed to certain tax breaks for the rich, despite that being at the center of the $858 billion package to extend the Bush-era tax cuts.

The Vice President said he believed that the priority to reduce the ballooning federal deficit coupled with an improving economy should bolster the argument against extending the tax breaks.
