Riverwoods, Ill. (November 23, 2009)

CCH and Grant Thornton have teamed up to produce IFRS Tax Manager, an online guide to International Financial Reporting Standards, aimed at helping tax, audit and accounting professionals comply with tax accounting and reporting standards under IFRS.

IFRS Tax Manager provides guidance and other material to help U.S. professionals become more knowledgeable about IFRS and the convergence of U.S. GAAP with IFRS. The guide includes the complete text of International Accounting Standards 12, 34 and 37, with additional standards to be added on a regular basis.

To provide answers to tax-related IFRS issues, the guide also includes 60 questions and answers from Grant Thornton tax practitioners on these standards. The IFRS Tax Manager also provides practice tools, best practices and guidance from the SEC.
