I took and passed the RTRP in 12/2012. The Prometrics testing center in San Antonio, TX on Loop 410 was fine. Administrators very nice and proceedures worked well. I loved the head phones that completely blocked out all noise. I passed the test and would recommend Prometrics in San Antonio, TX to anyone.

Instead of spending $$$$MILLIONS of dollars hounding and pounding the tax profession over this, the IRS should use them resources to lobby Con-Gress to remove this social program from the tax side and put it in the appropriate social walfare dept.

This isn't related to EITC, but I want to hear from anyone who has had an experience, good or bad with Prometric Testing Service. JB.tax

Answer a "few questions..." ??? You must be kidding me! The due diligence taxpayers must do,the additional documentation we must request, combined with the ever present threat of $500 to $10,000 penalty if we don't try to hunt down EITC cheaters is enough to make one leave the profession of tax preparation. Interviewing new and especially returning clients this year, I feel like a policeman. Sad that the IRS puts out publications that makes it seem like filing for EITC is a walk in the park. And does the IRS really believe the brand name software packages weed out EITC cheaters? What is going on here?
