A new Web site aims to help small business owners and their accountants deal with the increased burdens of Form 1099 filing by preparing and filing the forms online.
The site, Prepare1099.com, site handles the increased 1099 filing requirements for credit card processors to help businesses avoid the stiff penalties for failing to file the forms on a timely basis with the IRS.
The site was developed by Bob Jennings, who has owned a CPA firm in Clarksville, Ind., for about 30 years catering to small businesses.
