It's not really a fiscal cliff. January 1, 2013 simply marks the beginning of drastic cuts to various programs and the end of Bush-era tax cuts.

Of course, a certain party backed us into this as a result of the faux default crisis last year. Without those shenanigans, we'd be far better off.
