As of 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon, the Web site and e-mail of the New Jersey Society of CPAs were up and running, and the society had begun posting professional updates on its home page.

The society's offices has lost power earlier in the week as a result of Hurricane Sandy (see "Hurricane Sandy Hits New Jersey Society of CPAs' Offices").

The society moved its servers to another location so that its Web site and databases would be available, but still does not have phone service at its headquarters in Roseland.

As some staff still do not have access to e-mail, it recommends njscpa@mail.com as the best contact e-mail address.
