Ernst & Young Releases New Tax Guide for 2015

Ernst & Young has published the latest annual edition of its tax guide, the EY Tax Guide 2015.

The book is now available online and in bookstores nationwide, along with a companion Web site, ey.com/EYTaxGuide. The guide is also being made available in a variety of ebook formats, including MOBI, ePUB, and PDF.

The electronic format allows the guide to be adapted as uncertainty remains about the fate of dozens of expired tax breaks that have yet to be renewed by Congress but may be addressed now that the midterm elections are out of the way.

“The Tax Guide’s companion Web site plays a crucial role this year,” said contributing author Greg Rosica in a statement. “With uncertainty surrounding exclusions, deductions and credits that have been available in the past, the email alerts are especially important to provide taxpayers with information on tax law changes as they happen.”

The guide also contains tips on saving money on taxes this year and planning them for next year, along with alerts on tax rules and regulations that have changed, and tax organizers to make tax filing easier. In addition, the guide incorporates tools and lists on areas such as avoiding the 25 most common tax-filing errors and the 50 most overlooked tax deductions.
