The Sleeter Group Airs New “Mr. Sleeter’s Neighborhood”

The Sleeter Group, a company that educates accountants and small businesses on technology solutions, will be airing the latest installment of its new online show “Mr. Sleeter’s Neighborhood” July 17.

The show focuses on leadership, featuring accounting software entrepreneurs and thought leaders stopping by for a casual and unscripted conversation with The Sleeter Group founder and CEO Doug Sleeter and sharing personal stories of their success.

The July 17 episode will feature Greg LaFollette, former vice president of product strategy at the American Institute of CPAs’ CPA.com.

"My passion is helping people succeed, and the idea for 'Mr. Sleeter's Neighborhood' was born out of that passion," Sleeter stated. "The common topic here is finding what drives people's success. We're trying to discover, in a very human way, what makes them do what they do. What was the genesis of their passion? What makes them happy? What makes them tick?"

Launched in February 2014, past guests of the show have included Leslie Shiner, founder of The Shiner Group; Rod Drury, CEO of Xero; Seth David, CEO of Nerd Enterprises; Rene Lacerte, CEO of Bill.com; Joshua Reeves, CEO of Zen Payroll; and Jennifer Warawa, vice president and general manager of Sage Accountant Solutions, Sage North America.

"It's been incredible to hear the information shared. We've had guests talk about everything from overcoming personal adversity and the loss of parents or siblings to how to get venture capitalist money, and how they learned to value their own talents," stated Misty Megia, director of strategic programs for The Sleeter Group.

Episodes of “Mr. Sleeter’s Neighborhood” air every month, and viewers can also watch future episodes by subscribing to The Sleeter Group’s Webio channel.
