CBIZ announced on Thursday that their nationwide offices have collected a total of 1,026,139 pounds of food during the companys annual National Food Drive. According to a new survey by CPA.com, firms that have embraced new technologies are more likely to change with the most urgency. Early adopter firms - be it technology or practice management innovations - are more likely to enact deeper changes more rapidly than more cautious CPA firms, according to CPA.com's Innovation in Public Accounting Survey.

The International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB) released a Consultation Paper on Wednesday, titled Meeting Future Expectations of Professional Competence: A Consultation on the IAESBs Future Strategy and Priorities. The IAESBs proposed strategy from 2017 through 2021 builds on its revised International Education Standards (IES) and the Education Boards work towards the implementation of those standards in an increasingly changing world.
