The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) has announced the 10 recipients of the 2014-2015 AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship, annually presented to both undergraduate and graduate-level accounting students pursuing their CPA license who have displayed academic excellence and leadership. The KPMG Foundation recently announced that it has awarded $470,000 worth of scholarships to minority accounting doctoral students for the 2014-2015 academic year, as part of their Minority Accounting Doctoral Scholarship Program. The Program has notably awarded over $15 million to 331 minority students pursuing doctorate degrees since 1994, with the goal of increasing diversity amongst students and professors in business schools.
