Expensify’s charitable arm awards $25K to 10 grassroots orgs.

Expensify.org, the charitable arm of Expensify, has named ten winners of its Community Justice Grant Challenge. These ten grassroots organizations and individuals from across the world fighting injustice in their community will receive up to $25,000 in funding to scale their efforts. This initiative is part of Expensify’s new commitment to combat systemic inequity — the company allocates 25 cents for every dollar it pays white male employees to Expensify.org’s volunteer-led campaigns.

Upgrade closes $105M Series E funding round

Upgrade, a fintech company offering credit to consumers, has closed a $105 million Series E funding round. CEO Renaud Laplanche said the funds will be focused on further establishing the Upgrade Card as a mainstream credit card.

Gotransverse joins telecomm industry association

Gotransverse, which makes enterprise order-to-cash solutions, has joined global telecommunications industry association TM Forum. Gotransverse plans to share its expertise in scalable, intelligent billing systems to contribute to TM Forum’s Open Digital Framework and encourage new business solutions.
