Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors, Birmingham, launched Quali-Finder, a proprietary solution designed to help manufacturing and distribution companies identify tax credits, deductions and incentives they could be using.

Anglin Reichmann Snellgrove & Armstrong, Huntsville, merged in Bloomer, Geri & Co., Pensacola, Florida. The combined firms will operate under the name Anglin Reichmann Armstrong.

KANSAS

Boomer Consulting, Manhattan, is collaborating with the Business Learning Institute, Towson, Maryland, to develop a two-day workshop, the Anticipatory Accelerator, aimed at helping accounting firms accelerate their success. The workshop, scheduled for Nov. 5-6 at the Accounting Innovation Center in Kansas City, Missouri, was created to help accounting firm leaders learn new strategies, develop new services and resources, and improve their communications.

KENTUCKY

Dean Dorton Technology, Lexington, launched a cybersecurity practice that includes expertise in cybersecurity and risk-based programs, along with enhanced service offerings, and hired Gui Cozzi to lead the practice.

EisnerAmper Risk Solutions, a subsidiary of EisnerAmper, New York, joined the Accounting Blockchain Coalition, which is dedicated to educating businesses and organizations on accounting matters relevant to digital assets and distributed ledger technology. As a member, EisnerAmper will collaborate with industry leaders to work on issues impacting the accounting industry, publish a set of best practices, and help develop guidelines.

Janover, New York, launched a cannabis industry practice group, headed by Marsha Ellowitz and Jason Hoffman, to serve the emergent industry.
