CALIFORNIA

Windes, Irvine, was named a 2023 honoree of The Civic 50 Orange County by OneOC and Points of Light, recognizing the firm as one of the most community-minded companies in Orange County.

FLORIDA

Lisette Rodriguez

Lisette Rodriguez was hired as an audit principal at Hancock Askew & Co., Miami.

GEORGIA

Alice Katwan was hired as president of revenue and Eva Krauss as chief transformation officer at Sovos, Atlanta.

Deanna Merryfield

Deanna Merryfield was appointed managing partner, global workforce strategy, at Baker Tilly US, Chicago.

INDIANA

The Indiana CPA Society, Indianapolis, announced five new members of the board of directors for 2023–24: Terry Bush, director at Kruggel Lawton CPAs; Kimberly Dollin, managing director at CBIZ Somerset; Darren Henry, dean's fellow for diversity, equity & inclusion and director of diversity initiatives at Daniels School of Business at Purdue University; Mary Kay Prasco, principal at Prasco & Associates; and Jenny Quinnette, CFO at Vibenomics.

NEW YORK

John Beauston

John Beauston, co-founder and managing partner of Moore Beauston & Woodham, was appointed Americas regional chair at BKR International, New York, while former chair Jeremy Vokt will serve on the board one more year as an ex-officio member. Additionally, Gwayne Lai, tax partner at Anchin, Block & Anchin, was named to the Americas regional board, replacing exiting board member Clarence Kehoe, executive partner at Anchin.

Hitendra Patil was appointed president of the global CPA outsourcing services business at Datamatics Business Solutions.

NORTH DAKOTA

Eide Bailly, Fargo, announced that Eide Bailly Financial Services became Eide Bailly Wealth, which has left its broker dealer and will now only conduct business as a full-service registered investment advisor.

PENNSYLVANIA

Christopher Anderson

Christopher Anderson was hired as a senior advisor on the outsourced accounting services team at Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, Camp Hill. In other firm news, senior manager Scott Henry was named one of Central Penn Business Journal 's 2023 Forty Under 40 award recipients.

TENNESSEE

HHM CPAs, Chattanooga, hired: John Eger as manager in the dealership services group and professional and support staff in the Chattanooga office; Miraina Patel, Charlie Angel and Nicole Glaser as staff accountants; and Corinne Cooze as an administrative professional in the billing department.
