FLORIDA

The Institute of Internal Auditors honored CEO Richard Chambers with the William G. Bishop III CIA Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing individual members who have shown extraordinary leadership and dedication over a lifetime of service to the global profession and the IIA.

Brad Levandoski was hired as chief operating officer at Topel Forman, Chicago.

Sarah Richmond

Sarah Richmond was hired as a director in the audit and assurance services group at Katz, Sapper & Miller, Fort Wayne.

Courtney Kincaid was promoted to president and CEO of the Indiana CPA Society, becoming the sixth CEO in INCPAS history and succeeding Jennifer Briggs. Kincaid joined the organization in 2006 and has served as communications specialist, membership and volunteer manager, senior manager – member services, director – membership and engagement, and vice president - strategic initiatives.

Jennifer Mistretta was promoted to director in the assurance services group in the New Orleans office and Josh Dicharry to director in the consulting services group in the Baton Rouge office, at Postlethwaite & Netterville.

Sarah Belliveau, BerryDunn CEO

Maria Tsennykh was hired as managing director in the New York office of Weaver.

Deloitte, New York, was named a Civic 50 honoree of 2021 by Points of Light for the sixth consecutive year, a program recognizing companies with annual U.S. revenues of at least $1 billion that are selected based on four dimensions of their corporate citizenship and social impact programs.

PUERTO RICO

Alex Rodriguez

Alex Rodriguez was appointed San Juan office managing partner at Ernst & Young, effective July 1, succeeding Arturo Ondina, who has held the position since 2008 and will be retiring after 33 years with EY. EY also announced the opening of a new office location in San Juan, at the Parque las Americas building, part of the firm’s EY@Work initiative to increase collaboration and focus on work-life balance.

Brown Edwards promoted to partner: Megan Argenbright and Matt Heatwole in the Harrisonburg office and Jared Brown in the Bristol office.
