Emma Farris was promoted to supervisor, and Eric Perry and Lance Meacham to senior accountants, at Machen McChesney, Auburn.

ARKANSAS

Kayla Easley and Stephanie Murry were promoted to managers in the audit department and Sarah King to manager in the client account services department, at HCJ CPAs & Advisors, Little Rock.

CALIFORNIA

Hood & Strong, San Francisco, promoted six: Stephen Beal to tax manager, Derek Chan and Kaelyn Yu to tax manager for exempt organizations, Allison Cooley and Daniel Rajeckas to audit manager, and Erin Zhang to senior tax manager.

Seth Calhoun merged his practices into SD Mayer, becoming a senior manager in the San Francisco office.

Berdon, New York, as official accountants and advisors of the New York Mets, partnered with Learn Fresh, the Mets and the Amazin' Mets Foundation for the second year in a row to provide New York City middle school students with Math Hits, a summer education program focusing on STEM and social-emotional learning. On Aug. 10, Berdon and the Mets invited students from the Cross Island YMCA and the Sheltering Arms Children & Family Services of P.S. 105 to Citi Field for the first ever End of Summer Math Hits Tournament.
