MICHIGAN

Maher Faik, associate at Rehmann, Troy, raised $40,000 for Friends of Foster Kids by participating in the 100 Businesses Who Care semiannual pitch event. Faik was chosen as one of three finalists to present his cause to 100 top decision-makers from southeast Michigan in pursuit of securing up to $50,000 for his charity of choice.

BKD Wealth Advisors, Springfield, was named to CNBC’s annual list of the nation’s top financial advisors for the second consecutive year.

NEW JERSEY

Friedman is relocating its Atlantic County office from Linwood to Northfield, at 2111 New Road. Partner Corrie Cristaldi will continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of the location with additional support from co-managing partners of southern New Jersey, Neil Levine and Lee Sheilds.
