Evan Staggs

Evan Staggs was hired as a partner in the tax practice at Weaver, Woodland Hills.

IDAHO

Heath Alloway was hired as a growth partner at Sorren, Meridian.

ILLINOIS

Joseph Bigane

Joseph Bigane III was named the recipient of the Illinois CPA Society's 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award. Bigane spent much of his career at Wolf & Co. and became an ICPAS member in 1974. He became instrumental in the field of taxation, with a specific focus on state and local taxes.

MASSACHUSETTS

CRR, Wakefield, partnered with Liberty Partners to launch a new platform, Bridgepoint Alliance, to help lower-to-middle-market accounting firms reduce complexities and administrative burdens.

Chris Goodman was appointed to the newly created role of chief growth officer and Joe DeVito was hired as director of M&A and to the newly expanded role of chief legal officer at UHY, New York.

Lori Woodbury

Lori Woodbury was appointed the first-ever principal-in-charge of the Pacific Northwest office at REDW Advisors & CPAs, Salem.

PENNSYLVANIA

Lindsay Andrews

Lindsay Andrews was named co-managing partner with Lou Plung, beginning July 1, 2025, of Louis Plung & Co., Pittsburgh. Their co-managing roles are scheduled to last a year, with Andrews assuming the managing partner role on July 1, 2026, and becoming the first female and first non-Plung family member in that position in the firm's 104-year history.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

Moore JFC Group, with offices across the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Seychelles, joined Moore Global.

VIRGINIA

Spencer Schulten was hired as the leader of the financial crimes compliance consulting practice within financial services consulting at Forvis Mazars, Tysons, joining the firm's risk and regulatory practice and focusing on anti-money laundering, sanctions compliance and securities regulation.
