Boomer Consulting awarded two individuals with its Bridging the Gap awards, honoring firms and individuals in the accounting profession that excel in aligning technology and firm management, during the 2023 Boomer Technology Circles Summit in Kansas City. Kamran Faruqi, chief information officer at Adams Brown, was presented with the 2023 Bridging the Outstanding Technology Leader award and Greg Davis, principal of Pinion, was presented with the 2023 Innovation Leader award. Marcum announced the Marcum Foundation raised $860,000 and counting for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at the annual Hope in the Hamptons Gala. Additionally, the Marcum Foundation will be hosting its fourth annual charity golf outing Sept. 19 at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, with all funds also supporting the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
