Warren Averett, Birmingham, is marking its 50th anniversary this year, and will celebrate with a 50 Acts of Service challenge, 50th anniversary limited edition merchandise, and an employee spirit week, among other activities.

CALIFORNIA

Windes, Irvine, held its annual Windes Gives Back Day by this year supporting the Aquarium of the Pacific, participating in its Los Cerritos Wetlands Stewardship Program. Windes employees pitched in to the program’s restoration efforts, helping remove 1,000 pounds of non-native black mustard and yellow clover and planted 130 Coastal Sage Scrub seedlings and bushes in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

Jennifer Sherman was named chief product and experience officer and Mike Summers as chief people officer at AbacusNext, San Diego.

Heather McPherson, associate portfolio manager for the Equity Income Strategy in the U.S equity division of T. Rowe Price, was appointed to the Investor Advisory Committee of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, Norwalk.

Miri Foster

Miri Foster, partner and national leader of the tax controversy practice at EisnerAmper, was recognized by the Executive Women of New Jersey for her professional achievements and efforts in advancing women’s leadership, and will be honored at the Salute to Policy Makers gala May 3.

NEW YORK

Steve Antico was appointed the inaugural chief digital officer at PKF O’Connor Davies, New York, where he previously served as director of client relations for nearly a decade, and will now work to leverage technology and create value from the firm’s data assets to drive growth, scalability and data-driven insights.

NORTH CAROLINA
