ARIZONA

Lohman Co., Mesa, ranked No. 1 in Ranking Arizona’s "The Best of Arizona Business 2021 Accounting Firms" for firms with five to 28 CPAs. The list is based on a statewide business opinion poll.

AUSTRALIA

Andersen Global, San Francisco, announced it is unifying its African member firms under the brand Andersen, making five former collaborating firms member firms of Andersen Global: member firms operating under the brand Andersen Tax in Nigeria and Kenya, and Tabacks in South Africa, Jelil Bouraoui & Associates in Tunisia, and ATax Advisors in Mauritius and Seychelles. Additionally, Mondon Conseil in Ivory Coast and Isálcio Mahanjane Advogado & Associados in Mozambique joined Andersen Global as member firms.

CONNECTICUT

Jeffrey Previdi

The Financial Accounting Foundation, Norwalk, announced that Jeffrey Previdi was reappointed as vice chair of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board; Lise Valentine, the deputy inspector general for audit and program review for the city of Chicago, was appointed vice chair of the Governmental Accounting Standards Advisory Council.

GEORGIA

Aprio, Atlanta, announced Marc Rosenkoetter was admitted to the partner group, as well as the promotions of Danielle Berg to chief growth officer; Dan Mallory to chief information officer; and Jeff Duncan to director, leading the financial consulting practice.

ILLINOIS

RSM US, launched the Middle Market Collaborative for Understanding, a membership group designed to enhance diversity, equity and inclusion within their organizations and across the middle-market business community by sharing ideas and best practices. CohnReznick, New York, received the Out-of-Court Restructuring of the Year Award at the 12th annual Turnaround Atlas Awards for its restructuring work for Allentown, Pennsylvania-based Coordinated Health. Cynthia Romano, global director of CohnReznick’s restructuring and dispute resolution practice, served as chief restructuring officer in the turnaround and sale of Coordinated Health.

TEXAS
